  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup crushed crackers or panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, broccoli, 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. Top with the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheese.
  5. In a separate small bowl, mix the crushed crackers or panko breadcrumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle over the casserole.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
  7. Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can use frozen broccoli; just be sure to thaw and drain it well.
  • Swap out cheddar for your favorite cheese blend if desired.
