These cranberry turkey sliders are the ultimate combination of sweet and savory, featuring juicy turkey, tangy cranberry sauce, and melted cheese on soft rolls. Ideal for festive dinners or a tasty snack.

Ingredients

  • 12 slider rolls, split
  • 1 lb cooked turkey, sliced
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 6 slices of cheese (Swiss or your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the bottom halves of slider rolls on a baking dish.
  • Layer sliced turkey evenly on the rolls.
  • Spread cranberry sauce over the turkey and add cheese slices on top.
  • Cover with the top halves of the rolls.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and onion powder. Brush over the top of the rolls.
  • Sprinkle poppy seeds if desired.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  • Remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes for a crispy top.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can substitute turkey with chicken if preferred.
  • Add a spread of mayonnaise or mustard for extra flavor.
  • These sliders can be made ahead and stored in the fridge until ready to bake.
