Decadent Cookie Dough Delight Cake is the ultimate dessert for cookie dough enthusiasts. This rich, layered cake combines a moist vanilla base with a luscious cookie dough filling, topped with a creamy chocolate ganache. Ingredients

  • Cake: All-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, butter, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, milk
  • Cookie Dough Filling: Butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, flour, mini chocolate chips
  • Ganache Topping: Heavy cream, dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Prepare Cake Layers: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour cake pans. Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla, then mix in dry ingredients alternately with milk. Bake and cool.
  2. Make Cookie Dough: In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar, then mix in vanilla and flour. Fold in chocolate chips.
  3. Assemble the Cake: Place the first cake layer, spread cookie dough, top with the second cake layer.
  4. Add Ganache Topping: Heat cream until steaming, pour over chopped chocolate, let sit, then whisk. Pour over assembled cake.
  5. Chill: Let the cake set in the fridge before serving for best texture.

Notes

  • To make the cookie dough filling safe to eat, toast the flour at 350°F for 5 minutes before use.
  • You can refrigerate the assembled cake to help it hold shape during slicing.
