  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a large pot, cook the ground beef until browned, then drain the fat.
  • Add the butter, onion, celery, and carrots. Sauté for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the flour and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Slowly pour in the chicken broth, stirring constantly, and bring to a boil.
