  • 8 oz linguine or spaghetti
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ½ cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Grated Parmesan (for serving)

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté until fragrant.
  • Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink, about 2 minutes per side.
  • Pour in white wine and lemon juice; simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Toss in cooked pasta, remaining butter, and parsley; mix well.
  • Serve immediately with grated Parmesan.

Notes

  • Use fresh or frozen shrimp; if frozen, thaw before cooking.
  • Substitute white wine with chicken broth for a non-alcoholic version.
  • Adjust spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
