Ingredients

Scale

For the Steak Bites:

  • 1 ½ lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Fresh chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

For the Mashed Potatoes:

  • 2 lbs russet potatoes, peeled and chopped

  • ½ cup milk (warm)

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (about 15 minutes). Drain and mash with butter, warm milk, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

  2. Season steak cubes with salt and pepper.

  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak cubes in a single layer, sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness.

  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the pan. Stir and cook until garlic is fragrant.

  5. Toss steak bites in the garlic butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cook for another minute until cheese melts and coats the steak.

  6. Serve steak bites over mashed potatoes and garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor.

  • You can substitute heavy cream in the mashed potatoes for extra richness.

  • Sirloin or ribeye work best for tender steak bites.

  • Adjust garlic and Parmesan quantities based on preference.
