Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries

  • 2 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 56 lemons)

  • ¾ to 1 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

  • 4 cups cold water

  • Ice cubes

  • Peach and lemon slices, for garnish (optional)

  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine raspberries, peaches, and 1 cup of water. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until the fruit is soft.

  2. Use a fine mesh strainer to strain the mixture into a bowl, pressing the solids to extract the juice. Discard the pulp.

  3. In a large pitcher, combine the fruit juice, lemon juice, and sugar. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.

  4. Add the remaining 3 cups of cold water and mix well. Taste and adjust sweetness.

  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

  6. Serve over ice with peach and lemon slices and mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • You can use honey or agave as a natural sweetener alternative.

  • Blend the fruit mixture before straining for an extra-smooth consistency.

  • Freeze some lemonade in ice cube trays to keep your drink cold without dilution.
