Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 fresh ripe peaches, peeled and sliced

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

  • 4 cups cold water

  • 1 cup ice (optional)

  • Peach slices and lemon wedges for garnish

  • Fresh mint (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine peaches, 1 cup water, and sugar. Simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes until peaches are soft.

  2. Let the peach mixture cool slightly, then blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve if desired.

  3. In a large pitcher, mix peach puree, lemon juice, and remaining cold water. Stir well to combine.

  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

  5. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh peach slices, lemon wedges, and mint leaves.

Notes

  • For a sparkling version, replace 1-2 cups of water with club soda.

  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar based on your taste or peach ripeness.

  • Frozen peaches can be used if fresh are unavailable.
