Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Juice and zest of 1 large lemon
  • 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon slices and extra rosemary sprigs, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, chopped rosemary, and minced garlic.
  • Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Brush the lemon-rosemary mixture generously over each fillet.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove from the oven and garnish with lemon slices and rosemary sprigs. Serve hot

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the salmon for 30 minutes before baking.
  • This recipe can be grilled instead of baked for a smoky taste.
