  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ¾ cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until pink (about 2-3 minutes). Remove shrimp and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  • Stir in heavy cream, chicken broth, parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring until sauce thickens.
  • Add cooked pasta and reserved pasta water to the skillet, tossing to coat. Return shrimp to the pan and mix well.
  • Serve hot, garnished with parsley.
