  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni, uncooked
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions

  • In a large pot, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  • Add diced onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
  • Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  • Add uncooked macaroni, cover, and cook for 10-12 minutes until pasta is tender.
  • Stir in shredded cheddar cheese if using. Serve warm.
