2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
12 oz fettuccine pasta
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Boil the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Season chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through (165°F internal temperature), about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and slice.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in heavy cream and garlic powder.
Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Combine cooked pasta with the Alfredo sauce. Toss until coated.
Serve pasta topped with sliced chicken and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
